We had seen the Buick several times when we went cruising and had gotten to know the owner quite well.  I mentioned to my husband, Bruce, that I really liked the Electra as it was unique and a "one of a kind car".  We knew the Buick needed some work but weren't strangers to restoring a classic car, so when the previous owner told us he was going to sell the Electra Bruce decided to buy it for my Birthday.  This made for a very Happy Birthday and with a little work it is now cruising and on the road.

How did you get it? Thru a mate, in the paper etc?: 
We knew the owner from classic car shows we had attended.
