Climate Control in the Dodge Phoenix

Over time the heater box’ in classic cars like the Dodge can begin to leak because the heater cores can leak through age, rusting out the box and therefore dripping water onto the floor inside the car and rusting the floor.   This was happening in the Phoenix and as Otto didn’t like his feet getting wet he asked us to repair it and while we were at it get the air-conditioning working as well.  We removed the heater box, sandblasted all the rust out and restored to the Dodge factory original black.  While the box was out we re-cored the heater and replaced the heater tap.   At the same time repaired the leaks in his air-conditioning system and re-gassed it. Thereby restoring the Phoenix’s climate control.
