With the structural and suspension portions of this VH Valiant Charger build complete it was time to turn our attention to the motor. The motor is a 410 Small Block Mopar Stroker built by Ian Medley.
We received the motor and smoothed the block before painting it in the same colour as the exterior, complete with a flip of pearl. It was decided to stay away from all of the chrome and aluminium often found on high power motors and instead keep the Engine a simple Black and Orange theme.
We fitted a Gilmer Belt Drive, low mount alternator, remote filter with hardlines and topped this Mopar off with a 750 Vac Secondary Holley. The motor has a custom made Aluminium radiator and black braided lines throughout.
Keeping the theme simple in this Chrysler’s engine bay has achieved a high powered motor that is elegantly presented, achieving a clean effect that is all business.
