There were some pretty poor front end chassis rail repairs to this VH Valiant Charger when we started on this project. The rail resembled a patchwork quilt, so it was decided to repair the rail correctly as well as add a sleeve to both sides.
With the front rail repaired we removed the added “strengthening” steel from the lower control arms and added some of our own more effective strengthening plates. By strengthening the lower control arms in the Valiant front end it allows for better handling and less deflection in the arm.
All of the front end parts in this Chrysler were then sent off for blasting and then powder coated a satin black before being fully rebuilt with all new componentry.
This gives this Aussie Charger a nice firm suspension in the front, ready for cruising the open highway or racing around the track.
