FrankenCharger gets Mini Tubs and a 4 Link Rear Upgrade

The first thing our client came to us for was a 4 Link and Mini Tub upgrade in the back of his VH Valiant Charger.  This Resto Mod build was always destined to eventually be raced down the 1/4 Mile. So big rubber in the rear along with a suspension package that allowed the power to get to the ground was a must.

We cut and removed the rear wheel arches and added a large band on each side to allow for the impressively fat rubber to be fitted into the rear without moving the rail inwards.

The leaf springs and factory Borgwarner differential were removed from the back of this Aussie Muscle Car and a triangulated 4 Link with adjustable shocks and a 9 Inch differential with a 3.5:1 gear ratio and limited slip were fitted.

All of this allows for fine tuning of the rear suspension height and stiffness which equals traction.  Plus who doesn’t like a set of big fat wheels on the back of a Muscle Car.
