Removing the LPG Gas from the Buick Electra

The Buick came to us running an LPG gas system with a Holley Carburettor however we wanted to convert this back to petrol only.  We removed the LPG gas system from the Electra, welded up the holes where the LPG gas lines ran and made brand new aluminium fuel lines.  There was however a nasty surprise awaiting us as we pulled the gas tank out of the boot of the Buick, hidden under a false boot floor was the original floor which, to say the least, was looking a little worse for wear…
