Cooling down the Ford Windsor V8

The Windsor had an original radiator and had been fitted with 4 x 8inch thermo fans, this did not however keep the XP Coupe cool. We replaced the original radiator with an aluminium radiator and removed the thermo fans and replaced them with 1 15inch fan.  The entire cooling system was thouroughly flushed as a poor quality coolant was previously used.  A water filter was fitted to the water hoses to catch any substances which may still come loose from the block in the future and the Ford now runs at an optimal temperature.
