Restoring the Taillights

Like everything as it olds the taillights in the Galant had deteriorated.  The gaskets had grown hard and were no longer sealing the lenses, this was allowing moisture to gather and the screws holding the lens in place had corroded, some of them turning back to dust.  

The taillights were disassembled, cleaned, repainted, new gaskets made, chrome trims were repolished, lenses were repaired and polished, LED globes were fitted and all the screws were replaced with Stainless Steel.  All in all a result that looks like they are new off the assembly line, except brighter of course now that the Chrysler has brighter LED taillights.
