Fuel injection on the Big Block Apache Truck

In order to make this 454 Big Block Blown Chevrolet motor in the 1958 Apache Pick up truck start and drive reliably it was decided to fit a dual Fitech Fuel injection system. The Fitech system was fed by stainless steel lines leading to an aftermarket tank in the tray with an intank electric pump. A little bit of modern luxury sure does make it easy to start this supercharged big block every single time.

Of course all of this didn’t fit under the bonnet and in order to meet engineering requirement a scoop needed to be fitted. We didn’t, however, want to hide that impressive blower so a custom smoked lexen scoop was made so that we could meet engineering requirements and still see the blower
