The Dirty Dozen VH Valiant Charger build had allot of extra, modern electrical components added into the build. What made this Chryslers loom even more of a challenge is that the clean look in the engine bay and vehicle was to be retained and the least amount of wiring was to be seen.
In order to achieve this the original wiring loom was completely abandoned and a brand new custom loom was made and hidden throughout the vehicle in order to get the desired effect. As with any hidden electrical system the biggest object to hide is the battery, which was moved into the boot of this Aussie muscle car. Even here our client wanted to head in a different direction from the traditional false panel, therefore, we hid his Optima dry cell battery in a retro style esky (chiller).
The other items that were modified and hidden throughout the vehicle was:
- MSD programmable ignition system
- Electric Power Steering Pump
- Dual Thermo fans with hidden Temperature controller
- USB Charging ports
- Retro style radio- Upgraded Power lines
- Hidden earth cables
- Upgraded alternator to cope with added power drain
- Hidden windsceen washer bottle
- LED ligtht upgrade
- Electric Fuel Pump
- Upgraded Fuse Box
