Converting the Front end in the FB

April 26, 2024

FB Holdens were made and sold between 1960-1961 and had the front end technology commonly available at the time.  Five years later the HR Holden was sold and the advances made in front end technology were quite substantial, least of which was the change from drum brake’s to disc brake’s in the front.  As we wanted the FB to handle better and stop better it was decided to convert the front end to that of a HR Holden, thus eliminating the drums and giving us the superior stopping power of discs.   This improved the handling and stopping of the FB Holden dramatically, allowing for a much safer driving experience.
