Putting the Muscle back into Classic Cars

Abysmally poor chassis work of this Chev truck

October 16, 2024

This 1958 Chevrolet Apache arrived into our hands with abysmally poor chassis modifications that would not allow it to be considered safe for our roads in any way, shape or form. When you drove this poorly cut and shut vehicle it began to get the death wobbles up at anything over 80km/h. With an original differential that looked like it could fit into a Mini widthways and a front end that was that poorly aligned and grafted it was a wonder this car hadn’t split into three on the drive to the shop. She quickly earned herself the nickname twitchy for the way she handled on the road. Looked cool but boy was she a death trap
