Soundproofing the underside

The underside of the Galant received a once over as well.  The fuel tank was dropped and repainted, the centre hump had to be modified in order to fit the automatic transmission and the entire underside and wheel arches of the floor pan were sound deadened.  This should protect the Chrysler from unwanted stone chips and damage to the steel as well as make for a quieter drive with less road noise.
