The 347 motor in the 57 Pontiac Superchief was an original a 2 jet carburettor with 2 barrel intake manifold. This was changed to an Edelbrock performer intake manifold which Shane port matched for better flow and topped with a 750cfm Quadrajet. As a result the Pontiac gained more power and went from getting approximately 200km to a tank to 650km to a tank.
