Installing Airconditioning

The air-conditioning in Jamie's CM had been removed before he bought the car and with the arrival of his son he wanted to make the car cool and comfortable in the summer for cruising. So Shane fitted a factory Chrysler air-conditioning unit, replacing the condenser, hoses, pump and dryer. The heater tap was replaced with a new modern style tap and as the water pump pulley for air-conditioning and power steering are no longer available Shane modified a pulley to fit. As we commonly find in older cars the wiring under the dash had been butchered when the unit was removed and other wiring "modifications" were made, so before it was up and running this had to be repaired. Leaving Jamie with one "cool cruiser" for the summer.
