Making the Trans Am Handle

November 19, 2024

Rob wasn't happy with the way the Trans Am handled and as the suspension was quite worn out decided to upgrade to a heavier duty suspension as well as replace worn out parts.  New nylothane bushes and parts were used in both the front and the rear suspension of the Pontiac, as well as the shocks being replaced with QA1 adjustables.  By using the QA1 adjustable shocks it enables the Trans Am's ride to be easily adjusted from a very stiff handling type suspension, good for use on the track or around roads requiring allot of cornering, to a soft smooth ride for a leisurely Sunday cruise or use around town.
