Fixing the Steering on the VG Coupe

April 25, 2024

The previous owners to Jakes Chrysler had done some work on the steering of the car and had incorrectly built the column of his VG Coupe.  When Shane checked the issues with the steering he noticed that the bushes were collapsed and he was missing the selector parts.  We pulled down the steering column of the Valiant and replaced worn and missing parts then rebuilt it.  It was also noted on inspection that the gear selector shaft of the VG Coupe was worn out, which happens over time with use and age, so Shane rebuilt and refitted the shaft.  Making for a smooth steering and driving car for Jake to enjoy.
