Upgrading the fuel system in the Chrysler CJ

Every big motor needs a good and consistent fuel flow.  Therefore hiding under the Chrysler by Chryslers big 2 barrel air-cleaner is a 850cfm quadrajet carburettor.  During the rebuild of the motor we pulled the quadrajet down, cleaned and serviced her.  

One of the issues we were having with the Chrysler in the hot Australian weather was vapour lock.  This is where the fuel vaporises in the engine bay and causes the motor to stall.  In order to combat this we have run a full 1/2 inch stainless steel feed and return fuel line.  The feed line runs up the drivers side of the car and returns to the tank via the passenger side of the vehicle.  

In order to make sure enough fuel volume reaches the motor we have fitted a high volume Holley pump underneath the vehicle on a custom made bracket.  Of course while the tank was out of the car for the modification to the sender it was also cleaned and refurbished so it looks like new.
